discussion Trying a new paint

Well I bought this paint a few months ago and I've tested it on some spare wings. If it takes the clear coat ok then might use it on my next build

That looks interesting.

I've seen people painting model cars with nail polish, some crazy colours available there!

i've only got one colour of nail polish black lol

I actually painted a 1/12 scale R32 a similar colour but flake in that way too large for smaller scale cars

That's the problem I have with using real car paint from work - the flakes are generally too large.

yeah i tested it on an old car i messed up and the flake didnt look right but works on 1/12 and up ok
