No Ian, no such regulations here, it's pretty much what you want, even the low level sockets are only 30cm off the floor.

I have used some old furniture to kit out the studio, which will no doubt change over time to something more user friendly.
Shelving has started being installed, the local merchant ran out of brackets so I couldn't finish them.
From the left - computer area, modelling area and art area, and behind each is a cupboard with each areas bits, like paints and bits.
As I say it's a start.

Still with you here Garry and have to say the progress is wonderful. It looks really good with some things finally in place. I'm sure you will get it sorted the way you want and then you can let the fun begin, as fall sets in. Oh, and don't forget the lounge chair for the deck to lay back and soak up some late summer sun Sir!!!...

Thanks Allen, it will take some time as I use the space to rearrange everything to suit, but I am happy so far.
The late summer sun has been amazing, circa 28C during the day, so very acceptable. However I know what's coming as some mornings have been around 6C already :smiling2:

I'm still negotiating the rights to exclusive access to the girls bedroom now they're post grad and making their own way in the world
Miko (my main argument is, my own 'studio' will contain all the paraphernalia of modelling including it's delightful fragrances in one room where missus Miko need not tread!)
I also dabble in stop motion animation that needs to be fixed and unmoving?!???
