the sub is about 90% complete.
All that remains is a bit of finishing to fill out the look, secure the conning tower sail, and slip on some wire. But now I need a new pot of grey paint. The stuff I had been using is calling it quits and I need just a bit more to carry me the rest of the way...

I will place it with U23 and U99. About the only hull(s) I'm lacking are the type IX and the type XXIII. I would like to find a type IX for sure.
I will also put on some completed pics when I am ready to call it such. I fixed up the exterior, now I need apply a bit of detail (and repair some previous detail) and I think I will be happy with it.
