Does any one else think this reminds them of those cutaway engines , with the red, silver and black . Brilliant work and Idea

Just seen this one Ken, very interesting indeed. Like you said painting it looks far better than just the wood, but you can also see the wood grain, and gives it a nice effect.

I've seen a few of these Ugear wooden models made but never seen one painted. This really looks good. Well worth doing.

There's far more work in the ladder assu than the bodywork and it's far more difficult to get a smooth action but I'm quite pleased with how it's working.
