Ralph,
Welcome to the 'Bump start my ticker club'. Hope you are doing well now after the op. And hope your family are over the shock.
Had mine in Feb, 2001, no stents but came close with first at home, sitting on the toilet having first ciggie of the day, then decided to have two more at A&E. Once they get you calmed down then you will start to feel a heck of a lot better. Do not worry about your diet, it will all come together, even the thought of the boiled fish and having skimmed milk on your corn flakes. Did I mention the weight gain, I used to weigh in a nine and a half stone in old money, now steady at a comfy hug 12.
Take it easy, Mike.

This is a pic my wife took of me all doped up on morphine.

Well Ralph it does look like you are about 8 miles high in the pic. Good to hear that your back on your feet. Like the guys said, take your meds, follow the diet and drink a cold one once in a while and all will be fine Sir. Wishing you all the best...

Looks like me on a calm day! Like the guys have said, keep takin the meds and you'll be OK. You should give up the ciggies though if you're a smoker! I had to and it was the hardest thing I've ever done. Glad I did though as I've so far had five more years than the surgeon gave me if I hadn't!

Sorry to read about the heart attack Ralph, glad you’re ok now.

Have enough rest and take care.

Tell me Ralph, did they go through your groin? I was spouting blood for half an hour or so with the cutest of all nurses holding pressure in an intimate area.
The wife said "just look at that will you?... he'll be just fine" :smirk:
