Saw a link to this posted on Promodeller and thought it was too good not to share. Really good tutorial on various rust effects. Although it isn't obvious, you can click on the pictures to see them better, the last ones are amazing.

Cracking stuff, i'm still banging around the forums and finding some good stuff to read. This is really first class and i hope to be using it soon

I think I really need some turps and oil paints! I've been rusting my models with Humbrol weathering powders and either decalfix or mattcote.
