Posted an article about Dirty Aircraft. It did not appear in new posts. Or in the Aircraft Forum section. Yet all my other posts were appearing as normal.

Got an email this morning saying that some one had replied to the thread. The only place I could locate the thread was in my profile under threads posted.

Answered the reply via "threads posted" thinking that the thread would be restored under today's post but no. It is being viewd by others as the profile info show 60 odd views & now a reply & my reply. Any ideas here ?

I saw it somewhere Laurie. Had you been speaking to a retired pilot about servicing and cleaning aircraft?.. Definately saw it.

Found it in Modelling..Reference..Aircraft section Laurie

I had a similar problem, i posted in a subforum of the "tips" forum .... didn't show in the recent posts. I received an email saying it had a reply but the email link took me to a dead url.

PM'd john and he said he could see it ok, i could find the thread in the sub forum itself but thats as far as it went.

Possibly this could be linked to the little problems John has had with the forum recently.

sometimes when u post something, if the page is not refreshed the topic won`t show up in the forum on you page,i think its something to do with servers being updated to accept the newer internet explorers and there are some small glitches

I posted about 6 days ago Ole, didn't show at all.

Johns merged my thread into the "unconventional modeling materials" sub forum cos basicaly i realised when i posted my "new" thread thats where it should have been added to.

A couple of days ago I saw that Colin had replied to a post, but when I looked only the previous post was visible. It was only after a further post on that thread by someone else that Colin's could be seen.

Don't ask me why, I still think computers are run by gremlins!

Yes found it Steve.

Has it turned up in new posts or posts in the last 24 hours as I posted a reply about an hour ago.

i cant see it on todays posts via my mobile laurie.
Thanks Colin.

Even more weird. Placed the same article on again as a TAKE2. It went on to New Posts I viewed it even made an edit.

Guess what it has disappeared again from New Posts. But it is in the Forum Model section.

Strange thing is that this thread has not had any problems ----- yet.
