this is something different for me this is citadels 28mm Eldar War Walker from Warhammer 40,000 , very easy kit with great detail and no problems in the build

I wasn't happy with the colour it was supposed to be or any of the others I looked at so I took inspiration from the TV series Falling Sky's and chose a steel colour , I used Humbrol Metal coat gun metal and polished steel but due to the bleaching effect of the metal colours it doesn't give a very good impression of the build in the photos , it does look more striking in natural light :)

Those last three photos give a very nice effect on the paintwork.

Also the effect you have achieved on the edges. Very effective.

Cheers guys I appreciate that:)

It's so hard to get decent photos of metallic

I think it looks great, the last piccies, as Laurie has noted, do show the contrast in the metallics. Nice work.

I like that, very different.

I need to put up some pics of my old War Walkers & Eldar that I did some years back - they are fun!! :D :D

I was impressed the way the legs and weapons just pushed on so you can make sure you get it in the position you want :)
