Warship day D-Day tribute at Norwich pond on Sunday june the 9th

Thanks for posting the photos. So many stunning models to see. I can't start to imagine the thousands of hours of work that went into building them.
 
Thanks for taking the time to post all your photographs Chris, there was certainly an excellent turnout for the day.

THANKS Guys yes a good turn out of vessels an the wheather was fairly kind but a very high wind as can be seen in the pics of my tiger she was leanin to starboard due to winadage as she is a high model but it dint effect most of the smaller boats

AN IM glad you enjoyed the pics PaulE as i took 47 pics an as my camera loads them in M/B then i had the tedious job of resizin the pics but as you all enjoyed the pics to me it was worth the effort an yes we all had a nice day as there was a very good turn out of moddelers

And a big thanks from me too Chris!!! It's great to see Tiger on the water again and I hope you didn't have any probs. I really like the pond you sail on. It looks nice and big. I especially like the step ladder on the one end of it. I guess if your boat/ship dies in the water, you can climb in and rescue it easily. The weather seems to have played fair too Buddy...

HI Allen youre welcome only to pleased to post pic's of the day for all you guys as it was a super day as there was so many warships there most ive ever seen for ages turn up an yes the pond is 600 ft long by 60ft wide an they say its one of the best model boating ponds in the country which im inclined to aggree with an lord know how much water it holds an it was built in 1926 by prisoners from norwich prison an its only 3 ft deep an yes a tug was havin a push of my tiger my mate paul gave me a shove as the wind was quite strong blowin across the pond an no no probs on tiger as she sailed really to fast so had to watch her on the throttle an no melting wirein so hopefully she is now ok eletrick wize
