So today I finally had to admit defeat on my Trumpeter Challenger two, worked hard on her did a lot of remedial work and then looked at it this morning that it was still terrible looking and threw it away tonight, now going to start my Hobbyboss Leopard 2A4M a completely different kettle of fish, lovely crisp moulding. I have now ordered myself a Tamiya Challenger 2. :)
 
That's a shame, but not a complete waste, it's still practice and at least you now have a buster to try new techniques on. :)
 
Hope the Leopard goes well and the Tamiya Challenger 2 looks a nice kit IMHO.
