Based on an abandoned military Land Rover Series I.

That's will be my little text under the car once will be finished.

Since many days, I'm thinking my next build must be based on a real vehicle.

The idea is to copy it. I suggest like a themed build, but I have no response from the members. Maybe this work wake up your curiosity... Personally I need to discover new things. ;)

Well, I have a problem, it's difficult to me find here a perfect "guy", but few days ago Gregg post two photos of an abandoned Land Rover in Cyprus.

Simply prfect!! ;)

I haven't enough pics to copy exactly it, but I will base it with this two photos.

I'm wishing to do this project for the hard work of paint and the scratch parts build that requires. The base will be the Land Rover Series I of Minichamps (scale 1/18).

Let's see...

I have two pics, an iron Landy at 1/18 and many differents books for references....

I have try to do a good work mates!

It's time to do a new Landy for my collection, the Pinkie and the TUM needs a new friend!!

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this. Serious weathering like this is always really interesting to follow and I can certainly learn something new.

A new updates. The chasis will be nearly finished (want to do some washes more...) and I start with the engine weathering.

I do it with the hair spray method, like the engine too.
