A warm welcome to all the entrants in this GB & for everyone's assistance in making it possible - most especially Ian (papa695) who breathed life back into it :)

The GB will run throughout 2017, so there's plenty of time... Even for me!

Any Tiger B/King Tiger can be built in any scale.

Have fun & here's to a good GB!

Hi

What is Tiger B?

very useful find,Patrick, all info is of good help, and from that found which camo I will use,:D

Monica
Don't buy trumpeter roller to apply zimmeritt with wood filler or liquid nails they are no good they block up and just skid about use a razor saw or tamiya combs

A Tamiya classic there Monica :) as Tommy said, zimmerit is a necessity for the Porsche turret version. Maybe an experiment with wood filler?
I must order a zemmerit tool this week for it,not sure which one to get,,I think the wood filler, did see a good youtube on that way,

I just wanted to chip in & say their is another option Monica. You could try the zimmerit sheets from Tamiya - they do one for the Porsche turret KT.
Over here it retails for about £9, and while it's not as nice as something similar from ATAK, it's a lot easier than doing it yourself.

yes I did see that Patrick, and even cheaper than buying the tools,:D
I will get a tool of some type and have a lot of practice with it,before starting on a tank,;):)

It certainly looks good on paper, not sure if mine will come with the metal barrel as I believe only the first batch had those.

I'm looking forward to trying my hand at German camo, and (a little bit) of rusting. :)

Hopefully with John's outstanding service it should be here tomorrow.
