Hi, just done my first airbrushing today with a cheap one off ebay, didnt have much control over the thickenss of the lines etc, was looking at an aztec a430 airbrush, wondering if you can get anything as good for cheaper, or if its worth sepnding a bit more to get something else. Cheers.

Well Hello there,

I have used a Badger 200 for a very long time now (I have more than one) a fine, a medium and yup! A bigger un.

The beauty is if you bend something all the spares are available everywhere, [though taking some bits apart is for old eyes.. a snag can't see the join]

I have only recently got a double action one the 150

Practice seems to be the buzzword, and yes its true, no easy way to accomplish fine lines without it, unless you are the chosen one?

With Aztec, spares ... I don't know, and to throw the thing away for the sake of a washer??

I too would recommend the Badger 200, it's single action, but if you go from fine to thick lines, all you need is one of each head assembly at only £15 each!

If its of any use I have been using a Badger 175 but I would say buy the best you can afford and try different ones for feel/action if model shops in you area dont have them try stationers and art suppliers

But it unfortunatly means more money the better the product
