discussion What are you doing for valentines

Doing nothing, my wife is travelling this weekend. Normally we would just cook ourselves a nice meal and stay in.

OOOH what a lucky man he was !

I gave the wife some flowers and a card.Got a card from her.Im at work on overtime today.Bills to pay.
I've seen the film Jersey Boys and really enjoyed it.Our Daughter bought us tickets for the London show for Christmas.Unfortunately we caught a nasty bug off our baby grandson and were too ill to go.Box office wouldn't refund us or give us another date of course.Waste of £200 unfortunately.Anyway,enjoy the show.Ive heard it's really good.

Nothing, just some modelling this afternoon and evening after spending time doing bits and pieces around the house, fixing a head light bulb and tail light bulb

the same as past 10 years nothing!!!! lol, being single no need to but was in a relationship few years ago and didn't do anything as she had excuses was only some time later found out about all the cheating and dates!!!! but oh well her loss my gain.... but would be nice to have someone to buy a bunch of roses for and take out for a nice meal!!!!! to all those going out for meals etc, have a nice evening

Maybe you shouldn't have cheated and dated about so much !

Hopefully, we are off in our modest motorhome for a couple of nights to our favourite little pub, not too far away, in the middle of nowhere.......Proper ale, a couple of lamb shanks, slow cooked in red wine gravy. Fall out of the pub, fall into the van!!......Magic!

Now THATS what I call a plan !! BRAVO !!

The Roses stand proud in the vase. Pauline is amazed that for the first time in 54 years (or is it 55) I have bought her flowers.
The Cauliflower cheese is backing just at this moment in the oven. I hope, fingers crossed.

First it's breakie in bed for her then pressies, ive got her a pair of diamond heart earrings, a big soft teddy and a Lego Star Wars snowspeeder
I have a stormtrooper figure from her , then it's kids kicked off to their rooms in the evening while I cook a serloin steak in a pepper corn sauce with all the trimmings and a couple of bottles of prosseco sparkling wine and to finish off plain profiteroles in warm chocolate sauce

Got all of that, just - what the hell is a profiteroles ? Yank ya know.

Meal at a nice restaurant under the forth rail bridge and an trip to the ice hockey. Both her choices, I am fund manager. Had a great time though.
