I went to a Reading with my brother one year, our tent got run over by a fire engine.\ said:My Bro used to go to Reading rock festival in the 80s, he's still hasn't got his hearing back yet! I used to think he hadn't slept for two days because of his red eyes, know different now........It wasn't just the lack of sleep!![]()

They're playing two nights at the Roundhouse in Camden.\ said:I also used to go and see a lot of bands and go to festivals,Managed to see the Charlatans.Love to go and see lush.
Good choice.\ said:If i like it i will buy it but i do have a liking for queen
I don't get to leave the house much these days, but have fun.\ said:They're playing two nights at the Roundhouse in Camden.
Nice one\ said:I went to a Reading with my brother one year, our tent got run over by a fire engine.
I'm quite partial to Children of Bodom.\ said:all sorts of things
my preference would be rock/metal...........big fan of Black Sabbath, Metallica, Rammstein, etc
but i also like rockabilly and blues
my guilty pleasure is Julie Fowlis, very relaxing
I worked it out you like Sabbath.
Metallica and Anthrax 1986 Manchester Apollo...Brilliant.
but i will listen to most things except for jazz (4 blokes all playing a different tune at the same time), 99% of rap (spelled with a silent 'c') and most things associated with simon cowell (done more harm to popular music than i thought would be possible)\ said:SWR, Brad paisley is a coutry singer, and probably the best guitarist in country music today.
I have a great love of modern country, and old rock, but being a guitarist myself, i also love the skillset of Alexi Laiho, although his band children of bodom, do absolutely nothing for me!
So a bit of everything then\ said:Lobe the 60s/70s/80s/ 90s and possibly 00 but don't like that garage or grunge stuff, like most music and even like listening to easy relaxing music while modelling
Cheers
Robert
Nice choice.\ said:I was a teenager in the 1960s, and I am so glad that I lived through that magical time when Mod turned to Hippy
So I like the Beatles & Stones, and from the appearance of rock acts like Cream, then through the Underground/Prog. Rock with bands like Traffic, Pink Floyd, Soft Machine, and so on. But I don't like the subsequent move to heavy metal
Though my favourite musician is a guitarist & singer, Michael Chapman
Not a fan of early Linkin park but the later stuff is ok\ said:Sounds like some are rockers from different eras...
For me its;
Green day
Linkin park
Slipknot
Drowning pool
Papa roach
Simple plan
...to name a few
