Got a few pounds to spend on a few WW11 German tanks/armour (1/35 scale). Looking for some kits that will present as a bit of a challenge to build and also offer some variable camouflage choices. I looked on an internet site "WW2 Drawings" and was amazed by huge array of German tanks/armour used in WW11!!! This site is worth a look, it has quite comprehensive lists of all vehicles/ships/airplanes/armour etc used in WW11. The site shows colour pics (where applicable) and gives some basic spec.

Any suggestions of few kits to look at???

I think the folks will need a bit more info, such as, what you like, what your previous builds have been, anything specific you're attracted to (type, big, small, unusual camouflage patterns??), what level of difficulty you fancy etc

I'm sure there'll be plenty of advice but we need a starting place

If your "kind of" new might i suggest a Tamiya kit as these often come with band tracks and fit together really well.

If your "confident" in your modelling skills then i suggest you get a Dragon Smart kit as these come with indy tracks and can be a great challenge.

If your worried about coin but want a "dragon" kit then i suggest you get "cyber hobby" value pack. These come with figures too =)

As for what type of afv. I suggest a panzer 4 as these were around during most german camo stages, or a stug.

HTH a little Jan.
