discussion What varnish do you use?

Hi guys I was wondering what varnish you guys use as in your gloss coats matt coats etc, i'm nearly out of my humbrol matt varnish (the one in a can) but was wondering what you use as my local model shop sells this at 6quid for a 150ml can, I was looking at the plasti kote stuff that BnQ sell as you get alot more for your money, but as I only use enamels would this be safe??

I use Vallejo.

Their matt varnish is particularly good and well regarded.

I also use their gloss but it seems that most people prefer to use Johnsons Multi Surface Floor Wax!!! also called Future or Klear. I bought some but have not used it yet.

I got a tin of humbrol satin varnish yesterday - seems okay so far

As Barry Vallejo. Like all their range of paints not had a failure yet. So easy to dispense & clean.

But the air brush needs a really more thorough clean & immediately after use compared to their acrylic paint.
