I'm agree with Alan there. Clear with panel lines.
You always will have time to "repaint" it, on a future :p

Half and half. One side painted the other left clear. That's how I would do it Peter.

Clear. No point in having a clear kit and painting it.

Thanks everyone I will give a few more days but I can see where this is going

Seeing as the Mustang was clearly a war winner ( no pun intended ) it would be nice to see a half half with all the control surfaces electrics etc and flap controls but at the end of the day Pete its your decision

Regards

Robert

For me I'd paint it I've had several Trumpeter kits that have had clear parts and I've always painted them. There's a 262 in my stash with clear part for the jet engine but I intend to paint them when I get round to building it.

Half & Half

It also depends on the clear parts fuselage whether they have tons of injection marks like my Tamiya Mig-15 clear edition.

I voted clear as it woul dbe different, but I think the half and half option would be eye catching Peter. You can rotate it for a new look every few weeks :)

Would it not depend on the fit? If it needs any sanding and filler then I see painted as the only option

Is it really clear or is it opaque? If it is opaque, spray it half half. If it is clear dont spray it
