HI ALL as IT says WHO DECICIDE'S WHAT MOTIVE or pics like a nude lady or such is put on a aircraft nose ? as i always wondered this

In others, it’s at (say) the squadron commander’s discretion, possibly with guidelines from up high on what is or isn’t acceptable, and perhaps varying degrees of enforcement of these rules depending on whether it’s peace- or wartime, for example.

But as to what actual design is painted, I'd have thought that it would be down to the aircrew (if allowed and within official 'guidelines' etc.)
