Bit like some of the Sandhurst officers we had - thank god for daddys money....
The guy that coined the phrase was ex forces, and was working as a civilian camp commandant in a training facility on the plain Mike. He knew exactly what they were…..bloody Ruperts…..winding them up at work was one of the ways he made his day tolerable.
 
Love it Ron. No idea what it is, though it could be a warbler of some sort. The chicks look a bit like our starlings. Your birds are different to ours :smiling:
To anybody interested, so Sue said they are Bluebirds. When they were tiny their coloring was much more vibrant , but ended up looking more grayish. She said that probably means they are females because the males tend to stay the vibrant blue

Great stuff. Colours are more intense during the breeding season as well. Definitely one we don’t get over here no matter what the song says ;)

Family # 2 has taken up residence. Thinking of getting a WiFi cam - equipped bird house lol
