Just of interest and of no significance.

A poll not in any way competitive but just to see what we all do in percentages.

Non in your category or diverse form to what is listed please describe. That will be interesting.

Any other comments please feel free to express an opinion.

Also if you diversify between then please also comment.

Phew I hope I got the setting up all as it should be.

Can we only vote for one Laurie

In no particular order of preference aircraft (wings) armour figures soft military civi aircraft/vehicles dioarama sci fi if it wasn't soooooo expensive.if I was pushed to choose just one then I'm sorry I can't as I'm to diverse in my modelling choice and moods

As it will not let me do multiple choices I like:

Sci-fi, armour, dio's, ships, anything really that takes my fancy...except aircraft...hate em, not aircraft themselves just cannot do for toffee.

Well, I've put down a category that I haven't even built yet! To be honest, my first intention was to build naval models, having read extensively about their history etc, but realised that a 1/72 corvette is possibly a bit ambitious for a returning beginner. Armour cropped up, as my mate (an ex tank driver) asked me to build his Scorpion (still not finished) but recently I've seen some outstanding soft skins, and realised that they have a lot of potential for customising and creating unusual subjects. But I know that some day, I'll build a big ship!

I went for armour, but I also like dioramas and soft military vehicles..

Rightly or wrongly I went for your favourite. Seemed to me otherwise it became pointless.

But also you can make comments of which those that have bee are interesting. Think if it had been multiple votes we would not have had the comments. :D

As just one vote is required, I voted for dioramas, but really I haven't a favourite. With the exception of Sc-Fi, I'll have a go at anything............My wheelie bin is testament to that!

With just one vote it is difficult, my favourite is WWII aircraft, but I also like Sci-fi, armour and naval vessels.

i have no preference.........i have, and do, build what ever takes my fancy.......i am not fond of doing two of the same genre on the trot, like to mix it up a bit

i would say what interests me the most would be armour, cars and motorbikes though

Those beautiful modern jets are the one that makes me back to the hobby, but after gaining few experiences here and there, I am cool with armour, sci fi, cars, etc. as long as it makes me happy :)

Like Beowulf, I have no preference & will build whatever takes my fancy.... over time this as included..

Military Aircraft & Helicopters, Armour & Artillary... Civillian Cars & Trucks, & a selection of Harley-Davidson Motor Cycles.

Have also build both a RC Plane & Submarine...

Gone for civilian vehicals, as this where im starting out..... But apart from ships/ boats, will be happy to try anything, more interested in the art of building than the subject, hopefully with more experience i will be able to experiement with different things, until one day you say " wow amos, how did you do that:D", dont hold your breath though:confused:

Sorry forgot to add Ships to my list as the Daughter bought me the Airfix HMS Belfast for Christmas :D :D

I like to do ships and wingy things as a break, in fact I have built most subjects and if I see something that appeals to me I will build it but always my staple is modern armour/ softskins.

I voted for Sci-Fi as that's what I mainly did last year though the majority of my kits stacked up are WWII builds, something which I will address this year as I attempt to reduce my stash :)

I only really go for things I know a bit about which limits me mainly to 1935-1945 aircraft. I don't mind having a swing at something else, but it's not rally going to be 'my thing'.

Cheers

Steve

For me WW2 aircraft but i have done modern military aircraft, armour and ships before including from the age of sail. Overall my interest really is with military based modelling rather than civilian.

WW2 subjects have dominated my modelling comeback but may do more later subjects soon.

If the rumours are true and a 1/32 Bucanneer is released by Trumpeter then I will be getting one and may even also indulge in my second favourite jet and do a F4 Phantom to keep it company.

I did try a tank recently but did not get on with the crazy IFV Club engineering. Maybe soon I will build a Tammy tank. Just for a change.

hi Laurie,voted Dio,but do like figures,Armour and some sci-fi,

do like planes but take up to much room and i can fit more in with armour and figures, ;)
