One that springs to mind was when I carefully laid out all the small detail parts (antenna, fins, lights etc) ready to be assembled into my 1/72 scale Red Arrow the next day. My good lady doing a thoughtful deed decided the room need a spruce up and after hoover the floor she decided to give the table top the once over........ clink, clink, clang, clonk..... all the small bits gone!!

Bless her... lol.

Thanks for sharing it is good to look back and have a laugh about something's, at the time it can hurt so much just as in life, many things happen for a reason it is what we make and learn from it which makes us stronger.

Worst mishap with a model? Easy....

Back in the late '60s my mate and I were in a club when we both spotted what can only be described as a 'Model' dancing.

I bet my mate a quid I couldn't tap on. He accepted and I went over to her and luckily did tap on. He gave me the money and after the dance I took her back to her place. I told her about the bet and we both had a laugh......

After but a fleeting moment 'On the sofa' She said....

"O.k., you've had your moneys worth, thanks for bringing me home."...... and promptly kicked me out.

Now thats a real mishap!

My worst mishap was with the revell spanish galleon, I had it 90% complete, including all the rigging, and about 30 or more figures painted that came with it, when I knocked the damn thing off a shelf smashing it beyond repair!!!!! :damn:

Cheers, Andrew
