Moving on to the wings I dealt with the intake areas using some sheet styrene . I really could'nt stand the thought of paying the high dollar for a resin Paragon kit on evil bay. Took about an hour a wing to make the mods so it was'nt too hateful.

I used the inside curve of the wing to mark a template

After some trimming and sanding got a decent fit

        Then added the top covers

The finished mods look the part and I saved some dollars to boot

        Cheers Trey

Awesome work Trey, just goes to show with a bit of ingenuity and initiative we can modify most things with the materials we have laying around.

Some great work going on here. The resin superchargers are a big improvement on the originals.

Joe ,Dave thank you both kindly.

Ole thanks ,I'll raise a toast as the glue dries

                  Vaughan thanks

Using the kit supplied Mills, the detail on them is quite good

Mounted up temporarily for a fit check

Dry fit of the major components, the wing roots are going to need some filler underneath. Was really hoping to have a good slip fit so the wings could be removed for shipping. I'll need a bigger box I geuss.

Got the bomb cart together ,not sure if it will go with the display yet.

4 hours of filling & smoothing seams ,drilling open intakes and the wings are ready for paint

the areas on the engine nacelles and next to the intakes were the worst

You all have made your input about closing this up well heard and I discussed it with my friend whom I'm building this for and he has given the go ahead to open up some cutaway viewing areas for the interior. So what do you all think about this rough draft?

Hi Trey it looks like you have the sections with the most to see covered with the view points so i think it would be spot on but what are you going to use it would need to be as clear as glass to get the maximum viewing.

Great work on the wings also

                            Zip ties. Brilliant!!

My suggestion regarding all that detail being hidden: Buy one or two of those digital picture frame things and fill them up with photos of the different areas that are hidden away once its all buttoned up.

The detail in this build is stunning!
