I have done a panel line wash. These are very shallow and fine, does not take a wash as well as some do.

I will be applying several mist coats of
Semi-Matt varnish next before doing some dry brushing and other weathering. But, I need to leave lots of time for the enamel wash to dry and cure so it probably won’t be until tomorrow.

I have done several mist coats of a semi-matt varnish. I will leave it at that on the rotors but will, once it has hardened, spray another mist coat of matt varnish over the main airframe. I want a slightly different sheen on different areas. This is another way to slightly modulate the effect and create more interest. Not a big difference but it does help improve the overall look.

              I forgot it was there…..

So, can I pop the canopy or not?

              Nothing to lose……

              We shall see.

                  Done..

It did not go back quite as perfectly as it was but it’s fine. There is a little damage to repair including a small breakage that I spotted on the photo that a piece of stretched sprue can solve.

                    All finished.

A nice kit and a quick build with no major issues. Recommended.

One quick pic - I will post a completed thread.
