Thanks Jim, I'm thinking of adding a bandolia with a cartridge pouch and gun powder holders strapped across his chest.

Hi Guys, the donkey ears have grown a lot these past years and may need cutting back a little. As it is I've made them look like they are flopping with the wind. Also they are kind of thick and will need parring down plus the inside of the ear needs grooving or carving out.

    Starting to look pig like.

The load still needs some water bottles and an old rifle. As had been shown earlier a French Colonial make or one of those Afghan type long muskets.
Ok ...a wee bit has been taken off with a burr and shaped...

    Hhmmm...maybe a bit more I think.
Thanks with sticking with me on the ears, I have thinned then and narrowed to more acceptable levels, I hope.

Trust me, a ton of resin has been shaved and burred off that it is thin enough to see through.

A diamond cutter was used to bore deeper into the ear and smoothen the edges and tip.

It's really taken donkey years to get to this point so I'll be getting on with more stowage and gear starting with latching with rope to secure what's on now.
    More later.

    Cheers,
    Wabble
