C for me, in the most I am happy to build OOB with the odd bit of scratching shaving...But if its a kit with special interest to me, I could and have found myself buying big lumps of resin or brass to "Enhance the experience".

E. I don't think I've ever corrected a manufacturer's kit. Having said that, if it is well known that a kit is really bad, I'll just avoid it.

Then again I did just carve out some 'air flap things' on my Harrier, so I'm not sure where I fit in now !
