I'm off to the model shop in the morning "all I need is glue" I have kits, paint, tools, scenic bits In fact everything I require, all I need is glue nothing else that's it just glue nothing but glue simple.....isn't it?....
If the wife is really quick in the hairdressers, no problem at all, just glue. My wife is really quick - well 2 hours or so, I mean seriously, what could possibly happen in a model shop in that time, barely enough time to browse really.
Good luck with "just" the glue but I went into my LMS the other day for just masking tape and was so shocked when I came out the shop my wallet was £85.00 lighter I'm so happy I didn't need glue as I'm sure that's a lot more expensive o_O
Wait until you see the whole range of different types of glue available. You start off with a tube of cement, then next day you decide you need a bottle of Liquid Poly. Then to put the canopy on you want some PVA so it's another trip to the shop. Next time the cement is just a bit too thick and the Liquid Poly evaporates too quick so you want a Liquid Cement.
Meanwhile your glue has probably set you back about 200 quid in rare and hard to find kits you 'needed'. They are the ones that you are worried might not be made for much longer and you have always fancied one. So now you need some more paint. While you get that you realise the Liquid Cement you bought isn't quite the consistency you wanted so you might just try the Revel one instead.
I wonder how those weathering powders work, and that new grass looks really good, if only I had a nice tank to go with it?.................
You may as well admit defeat now, it's a lifelong disease!!
