Well, I'm new to this but I have a few!

This is the moment I learnt three things:

    1. Airbrushing is so much fun

    2. Air pressure is very important

    3. Don't airbrush when drunk

This is the moment I discovered there was a difference between Enamel thinners and Acrylic thinners, and that Humbrol should really make the Enamel/Acrylic words a LOT larger on the identical bottle:

I've also learnt when you're at Hobbycraft with a bucket load of things you're buying, keep a running total in your head. I thought £120 was a bit steep, but to discover the airbrush that was labelled £22 on the shelf was in fact £84, I was not a happy bunny...

On the flipside, all the other shizzle I'd bought was a LOT cheaper than I thought. Though one of those items turned out to be two bottles of Acrylic thinners, and not Enamel... So....

Blaming the cat for eating a sub assembly that had taken two hours to build up because I couldn't find it the following day (the sub assembly, not the cat) and clearly there was no other explanation!! Only to find said assembly three days later in the 'safe place' I had forgotten I'd put it in.

Wondering why the 'copper wire' I was trying to fit wouldn't, only to discover I was trying to use a cocktail stick!!!! It took me 20 minutes to realise.

Trying to use the instructions for a Tiger I to build a Stug. III

This has been oddly therapeutic... ops:
