Three months in and feeling ok

three months ago today I decided to give up smoking and I now use an e-cigarette, now I have tried so many times and tried all the other nicotine replacement stuff before

I had heard good things from loads of people who now use e-cigs and that some have given up completely but what I can't understand is why a lot of places still regard e-cigs like smoking ?

I had to go to London just over a month ago and was told I can't use it on at any train stations or trains but it didn't stop me on the train as I went to the loo , where there's no smoke there's no fire

You would think that the powers that be would promote them as an aid to giving up smoking and tell the haters to button it seeing as the only thing it releases is water vapour

I think that the Jury is still out on the impact (or lack thereof) of e-cigarettes. There seem to be differing views about what exactly they do or don't emit and we'll just have to wait and see.

    Cheers

All the studies so far have been positive, the small amounts of chemicals in the fluid are of such a low level that you've got more chance of illness breathing air pollution than you get from e-cigs they do keep trying to find something though but so far they've found nothing that could cause tobacco related illness

They know there practically harmless so their trying to say children are using them and that kids will then move onto real cigarettes, of course that's all nonsense but the haters will try anything to have these classed as cigarettes

I give up smoking about 10 years ago, I had smoked for about 20 years, and just stopped, I still get a craving now and again but it soon passes, but I must say when I saw the e-cigs I couldn't wait to try one, but blue berry flavored cigs just didn't do it for me

Well done mate, I am stopping in the new year, like you have stopped and started and hated myself for starting again. I have a e-cig but it has packed in. Still smoke but am rationed by my good lady. I will stop this time, it has been a rough year but next year will be a new start.

It's a battle of will power! Just flick that "mental switch"!o_O

You will always get a craving, 12 -13yrs on I still get the occasional "pang" and just mentally shrug it off with, "That would be nice because I used to, but I don't any more." and also because when I did give in on a few of those occasions.........I regretted it!! Coughed my self silly beacuse I was a fool!! :P

So, with progressive resistance, you will get there!!

              Rooting for you bub!

That's the thing about packing up if you have a tough time you tend to start again but I have a cunning plan to stop that happening this time

Some would argue that it would improve them
