Well I have smoked about 4 cigarettes in my whole life if you could call it smoking. They were before I got to that ripe age of 21.

The last was when I went out with all the lads in the office to celebrate my coming of age. Celebrate . Thought oh yes swallow the smoke I had heard about all of this. Did not go with a curry evening

Well that may have been funny for the lads.

What was not was seeing my father, who smoked morning to night, suffering from terrible emphysema for the last 5 years of his life. Shuffling, it took 10 minutes, from the lounge to the loo and then 10 minutes back. Plus a cough both ends and in the middle. Not able after shuffling 4 yds able to speak through lack of breath. So be warned do you want to end your life like this. He actually begged for the end to come.

To remember that he not only suffered it was his children, me and my sister, and his wife my mother. Be warned that is the end result. Plus and smokers will probably hate me for saying it but the terrible coughing and the smell of smoking on a person and all within their vicinity is very awful. It is also awful for the non smoking partners and a disaster for the children of smoking parents.
