I built the Hunter not long after I returned to the hobby and remember it being enjoyable so thought I’d try another one. One short coming of it though is it doesn’t have jet intakes so I’ve got the correction set to have a play with.

The rotary tool should come in handy for drilling out exhaust etc, I have a Dremel type tool but find it a bit cumbersome.

Also some extra magnification, unfortunately becoming more essential these 😳

        Cheers,

        Geoff.

Seen it recommended a few times, so thought it would be worth getting as a reference.

Crikey, that's a blast from the past! I have a load of Blandford books that my parents bought for me about 50 years ago after the local library got fed up with me constantly checking them out...

Couple of small resin kits turned up today, (From Redog) both 1:35th scale and one of British army WW2 kit, (will be used on a future build I have in mind) and the other is supposedly German general supply/stores, bags, urn/churn, food bags, boxed goods, etc, which, (some of it anyway,) will be going on my current PBI GB Dio....

I made that (in an earlier boxing) yonks ago; it's large and very impressive when built! Not a bad build either!

Just a small box turned up today. I was intending to use some of these (1/35th scale crockery) for my recent Poor Bloody Infantry build, but thats completed now, so.... will keep them in the stash and I'm sure they will get used at some point.

Got another little auction lot, 29 x jars of various Tamiya acrylic and lacquer paints. All new and unopened not used.
At approx £3 a jar normally, that would be around £87, I paid £12 for them (£14 with fees) so not a bad result.
Out of the 29 jars, I already had about 5, but I use enough to have spares anyway.
They actually had lots of other model kits in this auction too, several lots of 5 planes, etc, but they all sold for silly money, not sure why, none were rare or valuable as far as I could tell......
