So I have had been quite good on the kit acquisition front, not having bought anything since 29th December...... and indeed not acquiring/buying anything until Feb!! Can't remember when I went this long without getting a kit!!
ACW as usual.
Andrew
So first up I got this free a couple of weeks ago from a club member, as Airfix had included the wrong kit in a Dogfight Doubles and it wasn't his thing. This obviously goes nicely with my 1/72 Brit aircraft. From what I can gather £10 is about the right price.
This one I saw on sale at last weekend's show, with someone at a club table getting rid of some kits. It's not my usual subject but it really caught my eye. This is a reboxing of Hasegawa 2006 kit, that is a by all accounts a very nice kit. Eduard has also reboxed it. The absolute cheapest new I can find this is currently £32, with £25 being the cheapest 2nd hand sale on eBay.....I paid £20, so all in all not a bad price!
It’s a new release of a bit of an oldie, hopefully goes together ok.
I’ve never built a Heller kit before, one thing a bit different is the kit is not in plastic bags inside the box but the runners are separated by sheets of paper, more environmentally friendly I suppose 🤔
Little package arrived today from the SMS, cheers.
A new 1:16th scale figure, a German Infantryman in Winter gear.
New pots of micro sol/set.
Some micro chains for my vehicles.
A new scribing tool.
Since we got the 4 wheels gb coming up and all i got handy either an etype or military......and i didnt want to do something else military.......thought id better pop out and find something.......nearest model shop is 15 mile away but i fancied a trip.......this caught my eye.....proper hot hatch from back in the day

We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no ones been
Latest acquisition for me. Genesis G70 3.3 litre twin turbo AWD, 365 HP 370 Torque, a real little goer. Shame we still have so much snow so can't really let her go yet.

Offered for sale by a fellow IPMS member at last night's meeting, good price and nice looking kit. Undecided whether it will be built as a Red Arrow or as a more military looking aircraft. The red plastic will be interesting to deal with whatever the decision.
Nice choice Mike 😎
I’ve tried the window trick with yellowed transfers and it did improve them but I had to leave them for quite a while as I remember.
Geoff.
And in shock news, I feel need to report the NON-acquisition of anything truly kit related at the model show I went to today....that's right......I didn't buy or acquire any kits, paints, supplies or similar!!
The only thing I did acquire was the below magazine a trader was giving away for nothing.
