Can't resist a bargain, so I bought a new Airbrush for fine detail work.
Its a Procon Boy PS-270 with a 0.2mm needle, first try out was very positive indeed.
I'm convinced its an Iwata by another name, many of the parts are identical in size and quality too.
Perhaps its an opportune time to mention that one of the best retailers for Airbrushing supplies is closing down.
Martin at Air-Craft.net will be sorely missed for his excellent service and advice

Just another little haul from our very own SMS, (thanx John), just some more paint, a new pin/panel liner and some more clamps, well, you can never have too many clamps can you?

A real shame as the last two I’ve done, FW 190 and Zero, both 1/48, were superb. In fact, the Zero was probably the best kit I’ve ever made….

              Hi all

And so it was my birthday earlier this week and whilst the main present was not model related, I treated myself to a few bits and pieces at the show I went to yesterday, plus of course small presents from the kids.

The basing board below is really simple and will be used as temporary bases for models at shows (it's much greener and more tonally varied in real life). I reckon there is enough to base at least four kits, if not six, at 1/72. and so for £10 I thought was good value for money considering how many bases I can get out of it and of course it will save me some work. It was certainly much cheaper than other similar bases on sale at the show. I'm obviously going to adapt each of them a bit to bring some variation to them.

The GMV 40mm Bofors was bought from someone at club selling off kits and is a bit of a departure but it caught my eye. Only £20, which is a pretty good, if not great, price.

And of course chocolate.....Toblerone once again featuring heavily!

              ACW as usual.

              ATB

              Andrew

Ordered some resin Russian figures, for a possible dio in the not too distant future, as I have a Russian tank in the stash.
They were from Ali Express, I think I got some of Temu a while back and they were quite nice, but these are not quite so nice. The casting is a bit bland, not a huge amount of details, etc. Couple were cast holding small objects and the objects have broken off or are missing!

But they will do for as figures for a dio.....and they were cheap, so..... 8-)

Think I have about 10 in total in various poses, so if I get half a dozen decent ones out of them I'll be happy.

Saved the best to last, the new much less stinky Low Odor(sic) Extra Thin and it really is noticeably less pungent.

It was from Ebay, these search words should do the trick.
Tamiya Cement Holder Single Glue Pot Bottle Holder 3D Printed Anti Spill 40ml

Came very quickly and really well packed too
The same seller had another similar stand with additional storage space
