[quote="And i marvel at how far they have come, im 48 yrs old and was just ordering Borderland: the handsome collection, when the other half asked "do you think you will still be playing at 60" to which i replied "if im still able to, then yes".
Would like to think im not alone...... But who knows?
You have a lot of years of gaming ahead of you mate. I will be 70 this year and still play 'Microsoft Flight Simulator' and 'Lock On Flaming Cliffs 2'. This latter one is a great reference for Soviet Aircraft.Comment

I simply don't see that it matters whether you are 15 or 70 years old. If you enjoy playing the games and can, then why not?
I've never been much of a gamer myself, but I know several people in my age range (which is pushing 60) who do play and have a great time doing it. Good luck to them. Too old?...b*llocks.
Cheers

I don't / can't play the damn things ........... If I had one it would be a dust collector under the tv .......... and the controller would be broken after I'd thrown it at the wall on the first day.Comment

Ha ha, you'll find online COD a bit pointless once you're past 60 - reactions just don't cut it with 14 year olds with 400 hours under their belts, but otherwise, hell yeah, old gamers rock!Comment

was quite addicted to pc games for years, until it got expensive upgrading for the new generation of games.half life 1 and 2 were my faves. unreal tournament, plus the call of duty and medal of honour series. tried playing on the kids consoles but just could not get to grips with the controllers. like the keyboard and mouse approach. oh and serious sam, brilliant game. started off on bbc micro and had most early computers at one time. used to type my own programs out on zx81 .Comment
