Ok, not over my house and not actually flying, but it was something of a surprise to come across this rather faded F104 parked in a yard along some obscure moutain backroad in the Italian Lakes region a couple of weeks ago. Pics courtesy of the Lady on the back.....

I'll hopefully get back to some model making before too long.

Airshow at the base here yesterday. Had a lazy low level overflight of 4 Kates w/torps escorted by 4 Zeros. Part of their 'Tora, Tora, Tora' exibition. Alas no camera due to laying sidewalk at the time. Heard Blue Angels, but too fast to catch a glimpse.Comment

And my house at about 1542. I had just finished all the gardening, stretched out in the sun nodding off, then the noise grew.Comment

If you guys have read the news...the first time Nancy Pelosi flew out of Subang next door I didn't know but the second time on her return flight from Taiwan I heard the unusual large jet engines, unfortunately it was at night so couldn't tell what she flew in.
Unusual because we have turbo prop planes flying everyday out of the airport including the Airbus transports and Hercs.

Any live on the Kent coast? Whilst working from home today there was a thunderous roar. Ran out into the garden to see half a dozen I think it was F15 Eagles fly over pretty low! We have the spitfires all the time but this was quite a awesome sight today, what a treatComment

Over here we get the fat ones instead of the sleek ones. German A400's made a stopover nextdoor at Subang enroute to Australia for a joint exercise. The Typhoons on the other hand stopped over at Singapore. Wondered why all the big jet noise was all about.
Cheers,
