            Hols last year to LA.

                  Typical. We have had tropical summer weather for like 70 days, you come and visit and it rains!
                  Can you try for a job at the 'airport' at Holeby on Lolland. We could use a bit of rain. lol.

                    Went to Hong Kong in 1960 on one of these.

                    Britannia. Two stops, Istanbul and India. Think it took 12 hrs !
                    Last plane was some thing you went up by the back and had rear mtd engines, while travelling to Germany in the Army.

                          I had an unexpected flight in this Rapide yesterday. It landed at the airfield (Lasham) where I’m currently working. The owner offered to take us up in it as a Thankyou for storing it in one of the hangars overnight. Lady pilot is a British Airways A320 captain. The flight was a great experience. I’m the little fat guy on the right of the photo!.

                            Nope! I didn’t have time in the end, I was in CPH for a total of 30 hours and only managed a business lunch in Dragor. The shop opening hours aren’t very convenient.

                              That’s so cool. I was in Alton yesterday to visit the model shop and passed Lasham, didn’t see anything flying.

                                I pas that shop on the way to work each day. I only see model railway and car stuff in the window. We flew at 1,000ft to Basingstoke and back. So you wouldn't have seen it around Alton
