Glad the pilot was okay and the plane looks repairable. Problem is it is more fuel for the naysayers regarding vintage aircraft flying.

Nah not likely all of them but agree that some may be stopped. Sad over reaction if it happens

Damn, this looks like the spirit of Kent spit which you can pay to have take you up for an experience. We have it go over quite a bit, glad everyone is ok though

I think it's very likely , it may not stop air shows but no vintage planes , they won't be any point in going to them IMO

Over the last few years there's been what appears to be a serious fight against common sense

That's a depressing thought mate. It's a stupid thing to happen too. If the airframe is in good Nick and the engine ok they are fine to fly. People jump the gun too much

Agree, but the problem is that deaths of the public can and unfortunately, do happen so for them it can be seen as that older aircraft are more prone to having issues. Load of bull like even a modern aircraft can have problems.

I agree totally mate , we have two fatal crashes with a 63 year gap and there's talk of only over the see and grounding planes , total overreaction considering from what I've read the hunter was responding as it should to the pilots input , I think what's happened is people have listened to experts who have given an opinion on what might of happened , some people should know the difference between an opinion and fact IMO

I find it amazing that we have 10 fatalities through an air crash and all of a

sudden the aircraft show world is upside down. 10 is very sad for those

families who have lost one of their relatives. But.

On the roads over 2000 people were killed in the UK last year.

                    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_air_show_accidents_and_incidents.

Shows the aircraft show incidents around the world.

Skimming through it there are very few spectator fatalities.

F1 spectator fatalities are numerous compared to airshows.

How many spectator fatalities have we had in football.

Looking at the above airshows seem to have a good record.

Life is precious but you have to live it as well.

Rally is probably next after that terrible crash the other day. Why the hell would you stand on the outside of a corner. No way. I'd be far up on the inside or well back further down the track.

That's a good point they have made loads of changes to motor sport , I used to love touring cars until they made it non contact, it was just a group of people on a leisurely drive after that and all the top cars and drivers left

racing car hit me after the finish at the Jersey Hill Climb and I was

on a 4 foot high bank. Pleased to report that I survived bit broken

The ammount of energy in a moving object is impressive especially with velocity being squared in the.basic calculations! Glad you were not too injured its like casualty on here
