Yes it is a great show Alan.

All the aircraft are "moored" at the airport including the Arrows.

You can wander around, behind a rope, and view the lot. One

year the Catalina was taking people for flights around the island.

The Red Arrow pilots and ground crew are always hanging

around chatting. Then off for dinner into St Helier.

In Tavistock in about 10 days time. Cannot find anything happening.

Which is the best model shop in Plymouth or Exeter ? Just like to

wander around and keep my darling wife impatient.

No got off lightly Dougie. A chipped vertabrae. Pelvis broken in 3 places. Lost 50% of my blood internally and then died in hospital. Bit of drama played out pretty minor stuff really.

Wow, that's pretty hard core mate, I broke a rib this year ops:

You can't keep a good man down. Sarah was a bit shocked to hear that. She treats those kinds of patients a lot as well. Hopefully it doesn't affect you too badly now

The Spitfire in question has made a couple of previous unplanned landings, last in 2012 in Germany.

It has suffered some fairly severe damage this time:

It was piloted by Roy Davies who some will remember making a remarkable escape from the P-51 Big Beautiful Doll a few years ago at Duxford:

If pilots have nine lives he's getting through his!

          Cheers
