Which is your other hobby?

Well we all must have another hobby, related or not with scale modelling. My other hobby is playing Airsoft. I was surprised to find out that in EU are arround 750 sites to play this game. But, more then half of them are in UK. There are so many people, all ages, sex, culture joining this game named "Game of Honor". Why? Because shooting with this small plastic pellet s at long distances is sometimes imposible to se if you hited your target( unless you have a sniper rifle)!(I have one)! .
So the player need to be fairplay and if he is hearing or felling the impact he/she declares "Hit" and live the game for 5 minutes. There are so manny rules, some of you know them, probably. I play in the southwest baseball league.


Its not mlb by any stretch ( I wish ) but I love the sport and its as close as I will ever get to the real deal .


I am saving up for a jet ski as a few of my friends have got one and it's great fun.

In my teens I used to be heavily involved in Radio Control buggies, Kyosho Raider, Tamiya 4wd celica, and Tamiya Madcap. The madcap was what i called the most professional rc buggy and i used to take it down viables and race it around the RC track after the club members had finished their racing. I was going to to join and race but not long after i got my drivers licence and was racing up and down the m3 in my xr2 and of course that opened up a whole new social life.


Did Karate for a while, got up to green belt but found it boring. Handy to know some moves if you ever get into a fight though, there was a bully at my school who kept picking on me and was trying to provoke me and I snapped ;and nearly snapped his neck taking him down i injured him quite badly he was off school for 2 weeks with bruises round his throat and jaw he couldnt swallow for a few days due to a brused adams apple, I actually got into a lot of trouble for that.


Been into my jap cars, my favourite car i owned was a jdm Toyota Supra Twin Turbo with nearly 500bhp had that for about 2 years before settling down and having kids.

Other hobbies include cooking. Love cooking for my missus and trying new things. Egg and chips just doesn't do it for me though.










I also like travel, mostly car touring holidays where the missus and I drive around.

Model railways in 2 scales oo(1/76) and o (1/43) have a layout built to represent the Sr region 1947-1967 in oo gauge its 24ft by 12ft so kept at the club rooms this along with some photography keeps me going most of the time.

Current affairs and politics, though I am not active any more in the political world. I read a lot and I am a bit of a movie buff. I love holidays and travel, specially cruising, but I still work running a business as does my lady so we don't have much time for the cruises managing one a year for a week or so at a time.


Here she is in Montenegro on our first ever cruise with the ship in the background, we prefer the smaller cruise ships.
