Decided not to hang about! If anyone wants to anonymously post pictures of their builds for us to see if we can correctly identify the builder, use the following account:

Just mind if you're in the habit of putting your name at the end of a post...

We don't want any " don't tell him your name Pike!" mistakes

Like the idea except that I'm afraid some strict rulings would have to come into play, such as one should at least try to severely curtail their comments, as some do have a speaking..er..writing style that I think might be easily discernable. Plain tech talk is fine as long as those involved do try to keep to an enigmatic nature. Other than those two concerns I think it could be fun as long as no one knowingly tries alter their styles to deceive but I myself only know one style and to attempt to deceive seems ridiculous.

Only other problem I have is that I shall have to start another totally new project.....not really a problem though ^_^ ....Oh yes, and watch those habitual "sing offs"....Jim ...OOPS!

Yep I already mentioned CHEATING, attempting to change ones style will definitely be considered cheating. I think that's the only rule we need here.

Wouldn't we all have to post a build that hasn't been shown on the forum already?
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

Maybe "rulings" was a bit harsh, My meaning was more of an idea that if one did not want to be quickly found out they may want to be a bit mysterious h34r: ... ^_^

Well if anyone had seen it, it would be a dead give away. No you definitely can't change anything about your build tech, that's the whole point, can you see a modeler from their style.

Just post say 5 or 6 photos, no words & let the forum guess. Obviously if doing a new build, keep it as you would normally.

Those who've been building for a few years might have stuff that's never been shown or that goes way back that many might not have seen before.

Nice idea, Patrick, posting old stuff. But 'oldies' like thee and me that might remember some old work would have to keep shtum - for a while at least......

True enough Ron, but there's quite a few of the  'new blood' who won't have seen everything... especially as a lot of older stuff has disappeared from the gallery after successive forum upgrades

I like the idea of just a few pics and no comments on new or old builds (members choice) Couldn't they just be posted in a "Guess Who" thread? Each person can just take the number of their order of posting until December and then the "Guess Off" can begin...exactly how I would leave to a more knowing mind :|

First of Thank you for saving my mail box from exploding! Good idea.
To keep it as simple as possible I would suggest people post one photo per post. No text just a picture. Naturally you can make as many postes as you like. Doing it this way will make it easier for people to come with their guess come judgement day. Mwaaah.
