The idea just lodged in my brain and I thought it would have been a nice gesture to John to buy the kits from him by way of a little thank you for his work on S.M.

I really only envisaged a one off, just for a bit of fun, not in any way a serious competition. Far from it!

It's probably just as well it didn't get going as it would have been very embarrassing to ban Scott's missus Carrie, 'cos we have seen her modelling skills and she is far too good and it would have been unfair to the other ladies!!!!

    What say you Scott?!

    Cheers all,

    Ron
I think the other ladies would give carrie a run for her money, besides the only kit carrie is building at the momment is little Miya Grace who will be completed in December.

Maybe going about this the wrong way ....

All we really need to do is tell our good ladies that it's a male dominated area and they wouldn't be able to do it anyway cos they're women .... they'll be queueing up!!!!!!

NB ... my partner has not seen this post and if she does then i won't be visiting for ...... errrrrrr....... how long does a cracked skull take to fix

Nice try but I already tried that with house decorating and mowing the lawn, she said "yes, you're right", I reckon she knows me too well for this one to work

I could probably persuade my older daughter to build something, but she won't do war things ! I'll need a nice little light aircraft or something. The wife, well that's a no...........

Its the wife's Birthday on the 12th, was thinking about getting her a nice model but think that might cost me dearly!

So thought Colin's idea of recruiting the daughters might be an option!

John I cant seem to find any Peppa Pig models in 1:35 in the shop looks like I am on to a loosing battle!

You could always talk to young Ron (who started this whole thing anyway). He was collecting fluff recently and didn't use it for his Unimog dio. You could use that for the sheep, although I understand it is pale blue in colour. :lol

If it was sheep in germany in 1944 they would have been painted dark yellow and red brown mate lol.
