Referring to Barry's question I have not touched the galaxy as i am too upset to do it because it was going to be a project me and dad was going to do. Bunker thanks for that nice paragraph about my dad that was sweet.

I have been focusing on what my dad would want me to do and that was to be successful at college and also at my job which so far i have.

I finally relised where my dad got this title of the thread from and that is from Ingrid's Lush Forum. It made me laugh when i saw Ingrid on her forum and read it.

I can't thank you all enough for the support you have gave me and the family. Ingrid read the condolences and was so happy that even though you had not met him in person that you could say all thoose wonderful things about him.

Gettin to the subject now though lol. I was in college today and found my dads old website which he made in 1996. There was loads of pictures of his models he made. It was good. Im not sure if you have seen it. Tomorrow is another day for me at work. Then i come home to help family friend look after the little ones as Ingrid is visiting her family in Stoke.

On the Dads and daughters i have made a few adjustment which has a video of all the models he has produced through the years. It is a Photo slide show with waiting on a sunny day song by Bruce springsteen who he loved.

Char, can you post a couple of links to the two sites so that we can all go straight to them.

PS, the best picture in your signature is the one of you!!!

My dads first ever website is http://website.lineone.net/~nigel-d/

The dads and daughters website is http://www.ourscalemodels.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

It hasnt had the upgrades because i have to do it via the main server and I cannot do it this weekend considering Ingrid is up stoke and i dont know the password to her computer. She put a password on there becasue a certain 11 year old was playing on there and giving her computer spam. so she put a stop to it.

My day has been pretty good. I have been to work and got a few customers annoyed when trying to take items back. I then came home to an empty house. So i am home alone and it is kind of freeky because i expect dad to come home and he wont. Oh well its a sad thing but also a good thing that i have house to self this is because i will have a party and no one will know about it. meh ha ha ha.

Thanks for putting up those site links again Char, they really are excellent reminders of what a good modeller Nigel really was, cherish and clean those models,I think we are so fortunate to have these reminders of his workmanship, you keep that tradition alive,he would have wanted you to do just that.

The Arado 234 engine is a work of art,I know that together with the Sea Fury this was one of his all time favourites, did you ever get my drawing framed for this one ?

Well yesterday I had a very nice customer (not!) tell me to F off. Then later some other customer called my mate a **** (the worst word in the world) I then Started to tidy up the house so it would be tidy after my party i had. Then i find out that Ingrids not coming back until today.

Today went to sleep at 4am woke up at ten to a nice coffee. Then i came on here to find out what the latest was.

Just to let you know it will be my dads birthday on wednesday so i will not be online for a couple of days.

Best you can do to "nice" customers with "potty mouths" is put on your best smile and tell them "I'm not paid enough to be sworn at and now I'm not even going to try and help you, goodbye and have a nice day"

                It always worked for me.....

I was in Argos today as herself wanted bookcase units, got them. They have Airfix kits on display. I did not find out what and how many they had, the one I noticed most was of an older style square rigger ship.

Not sad at all Char, you know your stock which is more than some of these shops do,the one and only time that I went into Antics was to be faced with a blank look as I asked for a bottle of medium cyno ? you would think that I was asking for something from another planet.

Sound interesting John Airbrushing is really good when you want to do a realistic camoflauge.
