I can hardly believe that I feel shocked at Charlottes news as I have only known Nigel through this forum for a short time. My best wishes towards his family.

              Miss Charlotte,

My prayers go out to you and your family. This has come as a complete shock to me as well.

Being fairly new here myself, did not know Your father real well, but did know him well enough to know to look at all of his postings whenever they came up, he was an inspiration to many of us here and although I am in the US, he was someone whom I would have loved to meet someday.

If there is anything you need, please dont hesitate to ask, I am sure that we all will do anything we can to help you during this time.

Even if its just someone to "chit chat" with, just let us know.

Again, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family, God bless you,

              Greg

Charlotte, I am absolutely shattered. Your father was posting only a couple of days ago and progressing his models.

If you don't mind me asking has he had an accident or is this as a result of ill health?

In the year and a half I have communicated with your father I have come to know him and respect him as a talented modeller, a kind and extreemly generous person and a warm and enthusiastic member of this forum. His drive and motivation has been a source of inspiration to us all and his postings have provided guidance, humour and expertise to us all.

I was so much looking forward to meeting him next week and getting to know him in person.

My deepest sympathies go to you and all your family in this particularly difficult time. Please know that our thoughts are with you and we will always be here for support, conversation and anything else that you may need.

Charlotte I have just noticed this thread and to say that I am in a state of shock is an understatement, your father was a true inspiration to us all with his drive and enthusiasm, although I never met him I spoke with him at some length on the phone a few times,it was very obvious that he was a most loving and gentle person who thought the world of you and the family, how cruel life can be and spring its surprises in this way ? please accept my heartfelt thoughts for you all at this difficult time, the forum will never be quite the same again without him.

                        hi char,

i`m sorry to hear of your fathers death, very shocked to hear of this. Nigel was a character and very active and has been said , very passionate. which i imagine would be the case in everything he was involved with, i can imagine the sudden gap and loss in you and the rest of your families lives for this i am sympathetic.

i wish you and all your familie the deepest sympathy in your sudden and unexpected darkest hour.

                        Chris

                              Charlotte,

Richard just told me! Im totally deverstated! Nigel gave so much help to me and never expected anything in return! He was an amazing bloke who i know will be terribly missed by both myself and the rest of the forums.

I know theres little that i, or anybody else can say thats going to really make much difference to how you feel! Just like to say that we're all thinking about you and the rest of the family!

If theres anything we can do to help please do let us know!

Nigel will be sorely missed but never forgotten!
