How sweet of you Monica, the smaller fauna don't bother us so much.
We do have some interlopers and freeloaders who pilfer the cats chow, and when the cats were younger there would be some downright middle of the night brawls out on the deck.
Enough to knock one right out of bed!

Now the remaining kitties are so old and fat that they just look on and then wait their turn:rolling:
Here's a few of the culprits

These are the little ones who pay us visits now and again. Only the badgers and bob cats we will actively run off with a shot or two into the air. they are known to kill anything up to a small calf if left to their own devices.

The larger pests such as coyotes, wolves and bears are a real worry and vigilance and large dogs are a must when the grand kids are playing about.
We gladly share our lives with these four legged critters, after all they were here first, a healthy respect and knowledge of their habits is our way.
We never kill any predator unless it is absolutely necessary, which thankfully is a very rare occurrence.

Two legged predators are fair game though:smirk:

Good for you Monica! We had a story on the national news the other day about a beagle that had adopted a possum in OZ. The beagle had lost her pups and the possum it's mother, so the possum spends it's time riding around on the dog's back. Ain't dogs great?

wow,Jim,you do have a lot of villein, about ,have Hurd ,some stories,s,about these.s one,s as well, you would need to keep a good eye on your moggy,s with this, lot about,
its hard to have that balance between them,as a cat will do it,s best to pick off the young, and even think, they can stand up to these,s guys,it be more the racoon,s who would be about the most, from what I,have read, and with miss/mr smelly ,would be the more common ones, you would deal with, thats what I,m thing,
