How sweet of you Monica, the smaller fauna don't bother us so much.
We do have some interlopers and freeloaders who pilfer the cats chow, and when the cats were younger there would be some downright middle of the night brawls out on the deck.
Enough to knock one right out of bed!
Now the remaining kitties are so old and fat that they just look on and then wait their turn:rolling:
Here's a few of the culprits





These are the little ones who pay us visits now and again. Only the badgers and bob cats we will actively run off with a shot or two into the air. they are known to kill anything up to a small calf if left to their own devices.
The larger pests such as coyotes, wolves and bears are a real worry and vigilance and large dogs are a must when the grand kids are playing about.
We gladly share our lives with these four legged critters, after all they were here first, a healthy respect and knowledge of their habits is our way.
We never kill any predator unless it is absolutely necessary, which thankfully is a very rare occurrence.
Two legged predators are fair game though:smirk:
