I did my City and Guilds Photography years ago, buying black and white film in bulk and then loading into 35mm film cassettes, doing all the developing and printing. I well remember dodging and burning, having a slightly shaky hand was an advantage for that meant the edges were not as sharp so it blended better.
that was all done with an old Nikon SLR, still do photography but now use a full frame Nikon DSLR.
i think cameras have gone out of fashion a bit because the cameras on phones are as good as the “standard” digital cameras so why carry two bits of kit.
