RIP Mr T,
A true friend to the modelling world. His attention to detail, positive advice and friendly comments pushed me to be a better modeller. My condolences go to his family.Comment

As I stated in an earlier post, He was my best "critic". I could always count on him to point out that little bit of missing extra detail that would generally put the finishing touch on my latest effort. He had a wry sense of humor and he will be sorely missed........condolences and well wishes to friends and family. Simon, may the force be with you and God rest your soul.

One thing which sums Simon's kindness
I messaged him about how on earth do i make the frame used on the back of a StuG to hold stuff.
What seemed like minutes a CAD plan arrrived with fool proof instructions ( i sure needed them) i tried to pay but no, all i could offer was to bore him with StuG stuff. Very sadly i cannot do that nowComment

I first came across Mr T on the old MM forum he was a great inspiration to me and many others, his scratch building skills and attention to detail were second to none, I for one learnt an awful lot from him and will be forever grateful, I had the privilege to have met him a couple of years ago true friend.
RIP Simon you will be missed.

Sorry to read thisGreat skill, and I’ve long wondered how he could manage to both have so many models on the go at once and seem to finish some of them
Does anyone know what age he was, BTW? He didn’t give me the impression he was very old, so I’m wondering now …Comment
