    Sorry to hear this Dave. Even traditional Asian treatments have trouble with curing unless you can take the beatings and after bitter taste of the potions. :smiling6: I don't mind the treatments if they can do house calls. Have you tried acupuncture?

      I've had Osteoarthritis for a while, it comes & goes, no particular pattern to the attacks. Usually the Ibuprofen Gel helps, this time it's only just starting to work after 2 days I dislike taking Paracetamol & Ibuprofen tablets - I'm afraid of causing problems with the other 8 pills I take! It's much better this morning, just really stiff............

        Ibuprofen gel is pretty much the same as ibuprofen tablets, just a different (less effective) form of delivery. Might be worth talking to your GP or practice pharmacist to discuss pain relief when the osteo strikes. There are lots of options to protect you from medication mismatching. The heat option is pretty good for getting you moving in the morning I find though.
