    Glueing Acrylic / Perspex

I'm using some 3mm Acyrlic to make the hull of an R/C tank, I'm using Ambroid - Pro Weld Plastic Welder to join the edges.

Whats the best way of building up a bead of adhesive along the inner seams to add some extra strength? If I was using styrene I'd use some poly cement - whats the equivalent that could be used for Acrylic?

Not knowing exactly how it works, is there no way that you can use the welder to build up a bead? or cut a very thin strip off an edge of scrap and use the welder to make the strip into a bead?

    Just ideas tumbling out!!

Tensol cement is listed in the workshop series book as suitable for perspex. This is an ICI product and there is no information concerning beading properties. They also list Araldite and Humbrol Balsa Cement.
