Supplies have been arriving for a few days now. Thought I would consolidate and post them all at once. I now have all the required Vallejo colors, washes and inks to start my efforts at 1-87 scale figure painting. The brushes came as.... Click image for larger version

ID:	1148162 result of a suggestion by the CEO of Race Towers. The push button on/off switches are for a possible illuminated diorama.......the jury is still out on that........we'll see. The paint shaker is a Godsend as the old arthritis is acting up. The Preiser figs. were a bargain and "some" of them will be used for my freight shed Diorama. The last batch of figs. will be for the Field Hospital Diorama I have been working on for the past year.

Not exactly common, they seem to appear intermittently - I've been keeping an eye out for this model - it has PE railings included, unlike the others in the class. I would think this is almost certainly going to be waterlined, on a sea base.............

Last week, I decided I really need a more accurate airbrush than my trusty Aztek, so after doing some reading here on the forum, I decided to buy:—

an Iwata HP, three metres of air hose and the necessary hardware for it. This last mainly so I can take the current Frankenstein series of adapters and stuff off my compressor, to just put a quick-connect on there for this hose.

Will do, probably as part of the M578 model I’m building. Chances are its first real use will be to put the camouflage onto that.

Some items to help me build some trees for future dioramas. Some Treemendus canopy fibre and 55m of brown florist wire. Quite looking forward to making the trees now.

Hopefully this will be the end of my feeble results with AB's........................................... I hope.
Changed the WC inlet valve this morning, so the saving from having a plumber has paid for this :nerd:

That is a shiny one Mr. Race.....is there a particular advantage to using a gravity feed over a siphon feed?

More efficient Rick. Uses all the paint in the cup and less air to spray it.

Apparently gravity feed uses less air pressure to move the paint Rick, so is easier to get fine control on.
